Normally I am not a fan of books with that much angst, but the angst is so understood and fleshed out that I was feeling the anger and regret and desire right along with the characters.ĭo you get that this book was emotional? Because you are going to want to tear this book apart, throw it across the room, pick it up again, and devour it some more. The beginning of this book takes place when our characters are in high school, but this is definitely a new adult book with all of the heat, sexiness, and angst that comes with the new adult genre. And my heart was ripped out, stomped on, shredded, and shoved back into my body all because of two characters. All I knew was that Sarah from Words With Sarah loved this book and told me I had to read it. I had no idea what this was about or what was going to happen before I read it. Normally, here is where I leave a synopsis for the book, but this is a book that you are better off going into blind. A roller coaster of emotions, you definitely need to be prepared for the feels before going into this book.
I had SO MANY emotions while reading this book yet I was so addicted to this story and these characters that I couldn't stop reading. Have you ever read a book that made you so angry but you just couldn't put it down? Yeah, that's this book.
